Pink Siifu has just released a deluxe version of his 2020 album NEGRO, making it a lengthy 40 tracks in total. To mark the occasion, he's dropped new track 'cointail' alongside an abstract, grainy video - directed, shot and edited by Dani Aphrodite. 'contail' sits at track 32 in the deluxe album, sandwiched between the distorted sounds of '2dirt' and 'fkthapolice[slumvillage tribute]'. Opening with a sample of a speech, there's ambience and claps, making the intro an uplifting start. Production by LastNameDavid sees live instruments and vocals looped to create a unique and soulful hip-hop track, infused with chamomile ease. Pink Siifu's vocals begin dopey and gibberish, as if he's just woken up, but as the song progresses, he comes round and lays down a poetic stream of consciousness.
